I am in LOVE

I am in love, girls. These shoes are just beautiful! I am so into heels these days. Really, I don't care much about flats anymore. I mean, it's not like I go out every single day. It's just usually the weekends. And it won't do me no harm to wear them every week right? So yeah.. I will never be satisfied with the amount of shoes I have. But really, I have very, VERY few pairs of shoes. So let's stop the talking and get to business! Shoes are by ALDO.

The MIU MIU Love

ZOMG have anyone of you seen Miu Miu?!

The collection is just perfect. Feminine and light.
Miuccia Prada has nailed it yet again. Just look the shoes!

This is when I start dreaming of having the luxury to wear these items. Even to have a pair just sitting in my room is LOVE. Oh, Jesus!

Do you feel the Miu Miu love already?

5 Needs!

Hey girls.

I know I promised a homey blog post. Well, this isn't the one I had in mind, and it's pretty spontaneous. I had another post like, in my to-do-list already. I might want to do that one after this post maybe?

Well, this isn't really fashion related, but it's more beauty related. And I always think that beauty and fashion go hand in hand. So yeah, you will be getting both fashion AND beauty in this blog.

So.. Let's get started.

These are just a few items I have in my room. And believe me, I NEED them. They're so good and trusty :)

I always have a tub of vaseline's pure petroleum jelly with me. It serves as my lip balm most of the time, but it doubles as a skin moisturizer too. So I just slap some of it on my dry skin area.
And it's so affordable, it's definitely a must-have!

Next, I have the body shop lip/cheek stain. It's the one in bright red. I think they also have it in a really light colour - not too sure. But yeah, I don't use it as a lip stain because I don't really like the colour on my lips. But I LOVE it on my cheekbones. It just adds a good amount of healthy flush onto my cheecks. Haha. It's like a dupe for Benefit's Benetint. Personally, Benetint works better, but I can't afford a Benetint. HAHA.

Then, I have Bio- Oil. I know, I look like I have ugly skin or something. LOL. Well, I don't want to lie. I do have ugly stretch marks on some parts of my body. Not too much, but still! And some of you might know of my scar on my right waist. It's slowly wearing off but there's still a tone of brown on my skin. So I'm still working on getting rid of it. So yeah, Bio-Oil is like, my bestie. Haha.

I also use Vaseline's body lotion. It's the yellow one you see in drugstores. I got it in a small size because it's a lot easier to carry around in my bag. And I slap some on my body when I get bored. Haha. And it's smells so yummy! Like, I don't really use perfumes, but I use lotion. And I'm not even done with this bottle after using it for some time! AND, it's so inexpensive. Like, really! Haha. Oh, speaking of body lotion, I'm waiting for body shop malaysia to carry their coconut body butter shimmer. I love everything coconut! Haha.

Lastly, this cuticle and nail treatment pen I got from body shop. It doesn't smell too yummy, but it doesn't bother me much. I just use this before bed. Cause I don't want oily fingers while doing stuff. Lol. I have really bad conditioned cuticles so this is a need. And I'm still finding ways to get better cuticles. I think I should stop biting them off first! Haha.

Hope you enjoy this loooooong post. Drop a comment on your favourites! :)

LONGCHAMP?

Hey!

Remember how I wanted a Longchamp tote for myself a couple of months back?
Well, I kind of gave up on it after some time. I didn't see the point of spending so much on a bag. I mean, it's Longchamp. It's pretty simple looking. Nothing big.

BUT!
Lydia Phua, my fashion saviour, texted me today and told me that she's got a chocolate brown white Longchamp totes in medium and long-handled.

Oh wait for the best part!

She's selling them for rm280 each! And brand new!
I was EXCITED!
So I told my mom the entire story about me not having a good bag for myself, how it's retailed a lot more expensive. It's retailed at like rm490? Yeah somewhere along that line.

So you see, I AM saving :)
And I need a bag. My roxy's dying on me. And it gets tiring carrying the LV Speedy around ya know. So now, I'll have a new bag, all to myself :)

Okay, I just want some suggestions.
Chocolate brown or white?

Thanks :)

Not Your Everyday Beach Wear

Hey yah!

So I know the holidays are coming up soon! I am excited. But as usual, I will have piles of homework to complete during the break. However, I'll definitely try to slip in some time for play.
Unfortunately, I won't be spending any of my time at the beach this coming break, but if you are, please have the extra fun on behalf of me :)

I'll just have the pleasure of lazing in the pool looking (hopefully) skinny. HAHA.

Okay girlies, instead of the usual summer dresses, I opted for a pair of high-waisted shorts instead. I know right, I'm high on high-waisted items these days. I guess that's FASHION.

I chose a coral-coloured one and a sailor-esque two-piece. They're pretty.
Sandals, anything. Flippers are easy! So yeah, you may wanna take that.

OH! How can I forget? SUNNIES! You need them. Protect yourself from the sun, loves. :)

Get ready for sun-kissed skin!

KICK Back And Relax

Good day, all! Well, it's night time already, but what the heck! Ahha.
Anyway, I thought of a look I enjoy pulling off. Sometimes, I lay off the heels and put on some kicks to look a lil' sporty. I used to be a HUGE Nike junky. But I stick to Converse now. I only have a pair of Converse though. Mine's like brown. I plan to get another pair in like, a bright colour. Like the one below.

Anyway! I like wearing Converse chucks with my skirts and dresses. It's a pretty easy way to dress down. I can still pair my Converse with Louis vuitton! Mhmm. Haha.
So, here's how I'd pair a pretty/girly bottom, I chose a pair of shorts and a skirt with funky kicks!

And finish the look with any accessory you want. Fancy, not-so-fancy, anything!
Have fun playing dress-up!

Never too old for it :)

Latest Products

Hi readers!

I have abandoned this blog for QUITE some time already. And yeah I do feel bad. And I really miss blogging here, but I just couldn't figure what to blog about ya know.

I went to One Utama the other day and I got myself some makeup products. Well, I've been thinking of buying some stuff already but I just didn't go out. So yeah. I know, I just bought like 2 items! But what the heck, these stuff ain't VERY cheap okay. And I give my cash a lot of value. I don't throw cash around. So yeah. I was taking like, AN HOUR, literally to decide on what I wanted to buy. So I just bought the essentials. A foundation and a mascara. I need a concealer too. My concealer's GONE! :(

Yep, those are the 2 items I got the other day. I tried them on today. The foundation is just alright. It isn't full-coverage. I like the mascara. Doesn't clump my lashes up and my lashes do look pretty flirty ;) AHAH.

I'll get more stuff when I go out again yeah :)

See you soon.

Feel good outfit!

Hi all!
I missed blogging so much! I missed blogging on this site.
Yeah, my exams are FINALLY over! After close to 3 weeks of long study days, I am glad it's over for now. Okay, I'll blabber more on the other blog. Time to get to FASHIONING!

I just chose a loose sequined tank top. I thought it would be nice if it was tucked into the short pencil skirt. It's kind of a high-waisted skirt. I like the colour! And the others are just accessories. I like stacking up bangles and bracelets. They just finish your look well. So you don't look so bare and... Naked? Haha.

I wanna play dress up and take photographs of myself. I know, it's all about me here. Haha. Nahh, kidding, you all matter too :)
I should really get someone to permanently take photos of me. Who would do it?
Tell me if you would :)

Inspired by Karl

Hi fashionistas!

The clogs are back! Karl Lagerfeld kinda started it again. We saw the Chanel Spring 2010 collection with Lily Allen singing at the back. The collection was good. Then you see the shoes. The models had wooden clogs on. And you know it, clogs are back! So here are two examples of clogs. The closed-toe clogs aren't as pretty (I think). I mean, some are alright. And it's just the way you pair 'em with your clothes. But here, I found a pair of Miu Miu's and Steve Madden's.

Again, this is what you can wear them with. Boyfriend jeans, a loose v-neck T, and a simple or crazy clutch or bag. Anything!

You can also pair clogs with a dress. They're very wearable. Easy! I should get one! :)

I miss playing dress up. I miss being a little girl I was.

How To: Dress Down a Cocktail Dress

You walk into your favourite boutique. The first thing that catches your eyes is a dress. You want it so bad and think, "Where'd I wear this to?". Here's good news for you! Buy it because you love it and buy it because you CAN dress it down. Don't have to be a particularly large event that you're going to. You can just wear it out and not feel ashamed for dressing up.

I know I'm giving you toooooo many examples of a cocktail dress, but I just found too many pretty ones that I want to show you all. :)

If you noticed, all the dresses I chose are tubes. Yeah they're easier to work my way. And to glam it up (although you just want to dress down), deck the bangles up! Here are two sets of good examples. You can choose one or just... have fun and stack 'em up like pancakes!

Now here comes the T-shirt. What you do is, find a cute T that will go well with your dress. Don't have to be too matchy-matchy on this one. Just pick one that will go with your colour scheme. I suggest something plain and simple. Steer clear of the printed ones with a huge statement on it 'cause after putting on the dress, you'd notice that the statements are not visible. Or maybe a little of it will show - which is a NO-NO. Something like the one below will be cute.

So there you go. Have fun shopping. Always remember that there is a way for anything at all. Just check with yourself if it's worth the price. And if you'll wear it. If you answer yes to both those questions, go ahead and get them badasses!

Happy shopping! :)

How To: Work the Brogues

So if you're wondering what the brogues are, they look something like the 'oxfords'. They're actually about the same thing. Oxfords sound better but brogues sound new to me, so I'm using this term. HEHE.

You get them heeled, or flat.

Here are some items you can pair them with;

What you do is you can fold the pants up a little higher so your legs would be exposed a little. They'll look something like the boyfriend jeans. But boyfriend jeans gives you a more slouchy look. And you may wear it with a lacy top like the one below.
OR
With a blazer over a loose t-shirt. Tuck the T in so it wouldn't cover up your structured pants. You want to show of the shape of your body. Not hide it.

For a bag, I chose an Alexa Chung inspired bag by Mulberry. I think this bag just polishes the look.
This look is more to the conservative side, so you can wear it to work. If you were younger, you could spice it up with some chunky jewelery or lose the blazer or opt for a different bag. Mix and match is the way to go, beauties!

Have fun playing dress-up! :)
